This month has been full of great adventures, lots of wildlife, and beautiful mountains. This little chipmunk was sitting along the road watching us all go by.
Gerry admires the awesomeness of Mineral Basin, just up the road from our house.
The sky has been incredible with depth and color to the clouds that stir my soul.
The mountains along our jeep rides have been breathtaking.
And awe-inspiring.
Scene after scene, mountain after mountain.
They are in a state of erosion, being slowly reduced by gravity and the elements.
Whether the trails be easy or difficult, they bring us to the same place of awe and amazement.
Hidden waterfalls, like this one, announced by friends, are special places to cherish.
High mountain lakes bring a serenity and peace.
And the creatures along the way, like this bull moose, are special treats.
And then sometimes, a trail just ends...like this one on cement creek. What a splendid detour, though!
